Fernanda Gimenes is a consultant supporting the United Nations Environment Programme's work on ecolabelling and consumer information. She coordinates the road testing of the Guidelines for Product Sustainability Information and is responsible for the private sector engagement strategy. She is currently based in London, where she obtained an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics. Fernanda started her career working at the United Nations Environment Programme Brazil Office, and over the last few years she worked for the World Business Council for Sustainable Development in Brazil, which included much experience working with the private sector and conducting multiple stakeholder engagement activities.
