Kenny Li as a member of Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association (HKFDA) and Hong Kong Designers Association (HKDA). He has won many awards, including International Design Award Gold Winner by IDA, ‘40 Under 40 Award’ by Perspective Magazine, ‘10 Best Emerging Designers Across the Globe’ by ELLE, ‘Global Design Award (Silver Award)’ by HKDA, ‘Shenzhen Global Design Award’, and ‘Design for Asia Award’. He was invited to showcase his latest collections in Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Paris Fashion Week, MOCA Taipei Museum and Triennale di Milano. In 2018, he was selected to represent Hong Kong in the ‘Belt and Road’ International Young Fashion Designers Showcase Tour. Li also travelled across Iceland, Panama, Tanzania, Beijing and Zhuhai to participate in exhibitions and fashion shows of design and cultural exchanges. He designed uniforms as the design consultant of China Duty Free Group.
In 2012, Li established his own fashion brand FAVEbyKennyLi which emphasises eco-friendly and down-to-earth fashion concepts, creating works closely related to our daily lives. He also launched his hand-made ‘collar collection’, using recycled material to create three dimensional collars which are a cross between clothes and necklaces, adding a unique edge to outfits. His fashion works have been included in the permanent collections of the Hong Kong Heritage Museum and China Silk Museum.
